best/oddest moment of last week:
an academic, following on from a comment i made, asked me if i was a 'believer', i replied yes, a nd he asked me what type of church i went to. i tried to explain, but as so often happens he didn't quite get it, so he asked me:
"what is it more like; a quaker church or a presbyterian one?"
